What type of dolls and toys do you accept?+
All donations must be NEW items. We accept multi-cultural dolls, boy & girl dolls, Barbies, baby dolls, and toys like basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, makeup kits, and nail polish. We serve children from birth to 18 years old. Please note that porcelain dolls are not accepted.
How do I learn about events that benefit Kenzi's Causes?+
Email your information to info@KenzisCauses.org to be added to our database. You can also visit our Events Page for current listings of upcoming fundraising events.
Do you accept dolls and toys throughout the year?+
Yes! We collect NEW items year-round. Donations can be dropped off at designated locations or mailed to: Kenzi's Causes, 2230 South Fraser Street, Unit 3, Aurora, CO 80014.
How can my business or company sign up to be a drop-off location?+
Contact us directly by mail or phone to speak with Founder Jessica Bachus. We provide materials and will list your business as a drop-off location on our website.
What is Kenzi's Causes employer identification number?+
Kenzi's Causes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our EIN is #26-4678835.
Is my contribution tax deductible?+
Yes! As a 501(c)(3) organization, contributions to Kenzi's Causes are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors should maintain bank records for monetary gifts and written acknowledgments for donations of $250 or more. Contact treasurer@KenzisCauses.org if you need an official donation receipt.
How do I donate a doll, toy, or make a financial contribution?+
You can find drop-off locations on our website, make a financial donation online through our Donate page, or mail items to: Kenzi's Causes, 2230 South Fraser Street, Unit 3, Aurora, CO 80014.
How are dolls and toys distributed?+
Items are given to families in need during our December Annual Toy Shop events held statewide, and to partnering schools and nonprofits throughout the year.
How do I apply for assistance through the Kenzi's Kidz program?+
Families must be current clients of Warren Village, Hope House of Colorado (Denver), or Crossroads Safehouse (Fort Collins) and must be nominated by their caseworker or program staff. We do not accept direct applications at this time.
What is Kenzi's Kidz?+
Kenzi's Kidz is a program designed to reduce the financial burden for low-income families throughout the year. We provide school supplies, clothing, support for extracurricular activities, and birthday and holiday gifts for enrolled children.
Does Kenzi's Causes need volunteers?+
Yes! We need assistance with events including our Bowl-a-Thon, golf tournament, silent auction, and Holiday Toy Drive. Support includes reaching out to businesses, handling incoming donations, and helping coordinate events. Email us at info@KenzisCauses.org to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
