About the Toy Shop
Every year, Kenzi's Causes transforms a local facility into a fully stocked toy shop where families can come in and "shop" for brand-new toys for their children — completely free of charge.
What started as a small doll drive in memory of founder Jessica Bachus's daughter Kenzi has grown into one of Colorado's most beloved holiday traditions, serving thousands of families across multiple cities each December.
Families are pre-registered and assigned a shopping time, allowing them to browse hundreds of toys and choose gifts that are meaningful to their children — preserving the dignity and joy of the holiday season.

How It Works

Families Register
Low-income families pre-register during the fall and are assigned their own personal shopping window on event day.
Donors Give
Corporate sponsors and individual donors contribute new toys, cash donations, and volunteer hours to stock the shop.
Shop Day
On event day, families browse a fully stocked toy shop and choose gifts for each of their children — just like any other holiday shopper.
Joy Delivered
Every child goes home with brand-new gifts, ensuring no child wakes up to an empty Christmas morning.
