It’s always exciting when we welcome a new member to the Kenzi’s Causes family. Whether it’s a new child in our program or a staff member, we really like to act like one big family around here! Allow us to introduce you to our new marketing associate, Jenniffer Barahona!
About Jenniffer
“I’m Jenniffer Barahona, a marketer with a focus on creating communities and impact. I am passionate about creating ethical marketing that helps tell stories and gives people value. I am a graduate of the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and gained skills in digital practices. In my free time, I love to read, try arts and crafts, and create memories with family and friends.
I have always wanted to work in a place that makes a difference and an impact on people’s lives. Kenzi’s Causes was the place for me because I saw how much effort and care they put into helping others. Being able to give children new toys and school supplies will help them in the long run because it will be one happy memory they can always look back on. Similar to everyone else, I think it is an amazing and beautiful thing Jessica has created and I am so happy to help.”
How Jen Impacts Kenzi’s Causes
We are so grateful to have someone who understands our impact and is passionate about our causes! Jen joined us in June of this year and she has already been a great addition to our team. Jen’s focus is on all things social media. She is basically managing our platforms by posting and keeping everyone updated on all the latest KC news!
Where Jen really makes her impact is through her diverse understanding. Jen is bilingual, so she will be putting a focus on creating more Spanish content for the audience and families in our program that consider Spanish their first language. This will allow us to connect better to a broader number of people and extend our reach even further!
Young and Passionate
As you can gather from our programs, we love helping others and giving opportunities to those who need it and deserve it! Prior to joining Kenzi’s Causes, Jenniffer was taking a little break after graduating from UD.
“I had a lot of fun going on vacation and creating a stronger connection with my family. Since I spent years working and studying, I really didn’t have a lot of time to do things I wanted and be around my family for long periods of time. So, when I had the chance, I took it! Now I am so happy I did because I feel closer to my family and refreshed to start working again. I am super excited to be working here!”

When Jenniffer isn’t working at the KC office during the weekday mornings, she enjoys all types of different hobbies and activities. She loves to paint, play instruments, and be outdoors. She even knows a little bit of French and Japanese! She cooks, gardens, reads, journals, and, of course, loves spending time with her family and close friends.
She says even though she’s not the best at any of these things, that’s not the point. She just loves to do different things and have fun with them! This is something we all could embrace a little bit more…
