Girls and Dolls and an Old-Fashioned Tea Party

Wy with the Girls & their friendsToday was the first Dolls for Daughters® Tea Party hosted at Wystone’s World Tea. I was very excited to be a part of the first event for Dolls for Daughters® this year. Seven young girls, their dolls, bears and cats along with two sweet boys and several adults were treated to teas selected just for this event and a wonderful selection of food. Bite sized peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bite sized hot dogs and hamburgers were among the hits along with great scones and chocolate chip cookies. The staff at Wystone’s World Tea could not have been more wonderful and the tea sets the girls were able to drink from were just their size. Here are some wonderful pictures from the event.[caption id=“attachment_64” align=“alignright” width=“300” caption=“Two of the girls having tea”]Two of the girls having tea[/caption]Tea Time Veronica and her tea Bailey and her tea

As you can see the girls and their “friends” are having a great time. Some even want to smell the tea and have their “friend” smell too. DSC02289The tea is great!

Kenzi's Causes

In 2007, Jessica Bachus started Dolls for Daughters®, after her daughter Kenzi was stillborn. She created an annual holiday Toy Drive for Colorado children who would not otherwise have toys during the holidays. Today, Kenzi's Causes collects more than 100,000 toys, stocking stuffers, books, toothbrush/toothpaste kits, backpacks, lunch boxes and other items to change the lives of children in Colorado through our programs. At this annual event, families are also provided with community resources to help improve their lives and the lives of their children.
