Investing in Hope: How Strategic Wealth Designers Give Back

At Kenzi's Causes, we understand the importance of collaboration and community support in creating meaningful change. This month, we're thrilled to highlight our partnership with Strategic Wealth Designers, a retirement planning firm headquartered in Louisville, KY. Since August of 2021, Strategic Wealth Designers has been a dedicated supporter of our mission to improve the lives of children in Colorado. Led by their CEO, Matt Dicken, Strategic Wealth Designers is not your typical financial firm. With a commitment to always acting in the best interest of their clients and a focus on giving back to the community, they stand out as leaders in both the financial and philanthropic realms. Through their Strategic Wealth Cares initiative, they actively seek opportunities to make a tangible impact in the communities they serve. For Mackenzie Perry, the Charity Director at Strategic Wealth Designers, giving back is more than just a corporate obligation – it's a personal passion. "It has always been a passion of our CEO, Matt Dicken, to give back to his community," Mackenzie shares.

"As the Charity Director, I believe it is extremely important to not only give back, but we truly want to make a difference."

When Strategic Wealth Designers learned about the mission of Kenzi's Causes, they knew they had found the perfect partner. "Once we heard the story behind Kenzi’s Causes, it was very easy to create a partnership," Mackenzie explains.

"Giving back to families in need and providing for underprivileged children is very close to our hearts."

Since joining forces with Kenzi's Causes, Strategic Wealth Designers has actively participated in a range of events and initiatives. From creating safe and enjoyable experiences for children at Trunk or Treat to volunteering at the Holiday Toy Shop and being a Premier lane sponsor at our recent Annual Bowl4Kidz, their dedication to making a difference shines through in every endeavor.

In 2007, Jessica Bachus started Dolls for Daughters®, after her daughter Kenzi was stillborn. She created an annual holiday Toy Drive for Colorado children who would not otherwise have toys during the holidays. Today, Kenzi's Causes collects more than 100,000 toys, stocking stuffers, books, toothbrush/toothpaste kits, backpacks, lunch boxes and other items to change the lives of children in Colorado through our programs. At this annual event, families are also provided with community resources to help improve their lives and the lives of their children.
