Kenzi’s Causes Raises Over $92,000 at Annual Golf4Kidz Tournament to Support Colorado Children in Need

On Friday, June 13, 2025, Kenzi’s Causes hosted its annual Golf4Kidz Tournament presented by Bachus & Schanker Cares Foundation at Thorncreek Golf Course. With 145 golfers in attendance, the event raised an impressive $92,499—all of which will go toward providing backpacks full of new school supplies to thousands of children across Colorado through the organization’s Packz4Kidz program. These funds bring Kenzi’s Causes closer to its 2025 goal of ensuring that at least 8,250 children are equipped with the supplies they need to start the school year with confidence and dignity. “In Colorado, over 157,000 children live below the poverty line,” said Jessica Bachus, Executive Director of Kenzi’s Causes. “Something as simple as a backpack filled with school supplies can remove one more barrier for a child who already faces so many. It tells them they matter and they’re not starting the school year behind their peers.” The success of the event would not have been possible without the generosity and commitment of sponsors and community partners.
