Kenzi’s Causes Sponsor Recognition: Injury Finance
This month’s sponsor recognition has been supporting Kenzi’s Causes for quite a bit now and has supported us greatly. They know why we put in all the hard work for Colorado children, even though their goals aren't fully directed towards children. We both want to make the world a better place little by little with what we can.
In 2003, the Colorado legislature repealed its auto laws, going from a personal injury protection state to tort essentially overnight. This left hundreds of thousands of individuals without the medical treatment that they needed. This is where Injury Finance kicks in; Dr. Burke was practicing as a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician in Denver. After hearing news of how this Legislative change is affecting his patients, he was devastated. This is when he and Krista Meardon took a stand and began figuring out how to provide these people with quality healthcare. Just like that, they created a business plan that would focus on building relationships that aligned the interests of individuals involved in personal injury cases, the law firms that represent them, and the medical providers that treat them.
