March Madness!

March Madness is back and so is Colin’s pool to benefit Dolls for Daughters® and give the winner, and loser some money!

Last year the winner walked with over $800 and we raised almost $450 for Dolls for Daughters®! There were 147 entries. we’d really like to beat that this year, so please share this with your friends!

If you ARE interested (and you should be!).  Here is the rundown:

Don’t pay attention to college ball? Neither do I! Trust me, it’s a lot of fun   $10 per bracket (do as many or as few as you’d like)
30% of Winnings go to Dolls for Daughters®
From the remainder: Last place gets his/her $10 back; Winner gets 80% of remaining; 2nd place gets 20%.
Brackets are due by beginning of the first game, which I believe is Thursday March 21st
You can mail me a check or bring me checks/cash (Paypal not available this year—they don’t like this stuff and I got in trouble)
Will be using the CBS automated site for you to enter and manage your brackets (they can also ‘auto select’ your picks). http://www.cbssports.com/fantasy

This is easy and fun even if you don’t watch or like sports. Colin will be hosting a get together the week the tournament starts, probably on Monday March 18th, you can bring money and fill out brackets there—- Colin would love it if some people volunteered to help people with their brackets here also!

To participate please contact Colin at colin.AT.yourhome5280.com; or Jessica Bachus at JessicaBachus.AT.dollsfordaughters.com.

Kenzi's Causes

In 2007, Jessica Bachus started Dolls for Daughters®, after her daughter Kenzi was stillborn. She created an annual holiday Toy Drive for Colorado children who would not otherwise have toys during the holidays. Today, Kenzi's Causes collects more than 100,000 toys, stocking stuffers, books, toothbrush/toothpaste kits, backpacks, lunch boxes and other items to change the lives of children in Colorado through our programs. At this annual event, families are also provided with community resources to help improve their lives and the lives of their children.
