Over $169,000 Raised at Gala4Kidz: A Night of Generosity, Community, and Impact for Kenzi’s Causes

Denver, CO – April 6, 2025 — On the evening of Saturday, April 5th, more than 130 guests gathered at the beautiful Hotel Clio in Cherry Creek for a night of purpose, celebration, and community at Gala4Kidz — the annual signature fundraiser for Kenzi’s Causes. The evening was a resounding success, raising more than $169,000 to support Colorado children and families through the nonprofit’s year-round programs.

From the moment guests arrived, there was a palpable energy in the room — a collective commitment to making a difference. Hosted in the luxurious ballroom of Hotel Clio, the gala featured a cocktail hour, electric string quartet from Spinphony, silent and live auctions, a plated dinner, and powerful moments that highlighted the heart and impact of Kenzi’s Causes.

A Night to Remember

The evening was emceed with warmth and enthusiasm, welcoming attendees who bid generously on vacation packages, local experiences, art, and exclusive items — all in support of families facing financial hardship. Proceeds from the evening will go directly toward programs like Packz 4 Kidz, Kenzi’s Kidz, Sportz4Kidz and Holiday Toy Shops, which provide tangible, year-round support to children in need.

A Mother’s Story – Ana Blair Shares Her Journey

One of the most moving moments of the night came when Ana Blair, a mother in the Kenzi’s Kidz program, courageously stepped to the microphone to share her personal story. With heartfelt emotion, Ana recounted how her family struggled to make ends meet after a series of unexpected hardships — and how Kenzi’s Causes offered a lifeline.

“When I felt like I was out of options, Kenzi’s Causes stepped in — not just with backpacks or holiday gifts, but with love, support, and real connection. They saw me and my kids as more than just our circumstances. Because of this community, my children are thriving, and I have hope again. I will never forget what this organization has done for us.”

Her speech brought tears to many in the audience and served as a powerful reminder of why the work of Kenzi’s Causes is so vital.

Reflecting on the evening, Jessica Bachus, Founder and Executive Director of Kenzi’s Causes, shared:
