Over $17,000 raised at 15th Annual SOLD OUT Bowl4Kidz event!

DENVER, March 11, 2023 – What started as one mother’s grieving response to the death of a daughter has grown into one of Denver’s most respected nonprofits serving needy children. More than 175 participants took to the lanes at Bowlero Cherry Creek on Saturday, March 11th to raise over $17,000 for Kenzi’s Causes. Quickspex sponsored the Bowl4Kidz event, which successfully brought in over 356 new toys for the annual toy shop. Proceeds from the event will fund the Dolls for Daughters and Toys for Boys Toy Shops in December. “Our goal is to serve 18,000 low income children through our Annual Toy Shops and partnering nonprofits across Colorado this holiday season and the Bowl4Kidz event is a great to start our toy collection. Don Montano donated 130 toys this year and we could not be more grateful!” -Jessica Bachus, Founder & Executive Director Bowl4Kidz has served primarily as a community event where families can give back while having fun; however, thanks to the generous support of participants and sponsors, it has grown to become an important fundraiser for the organization. Bowl4Kids offers many opportunities for local support and involvement; Corporate Sponsorships, bowling teams, and raffle items donated by businesses and individuals. This year, over $2,512 in items were donated to the raffle and there were eleven event Sponsors: Quickspex, AB Litigation Services, Bachus & Schanker Cares Foundation, Strategic Wealth Designers, Injury Finance, Knapp Design Co., Five Peaks Capital Group, Touchstone Imaging, First Citizens Bank, Ross Investigators,  and The Reynolds Family. Overcome with grief, Jessica felt compelled to channel her emotions into something that would honor Kenzi’s memory. With this notion, Kenzi’s Causes was created so that Jessica and her family could provide dolls to young girls at Christmastime who would otherwise go without. Jessica collected over 150 dolls the first year and since then Kenzi’s Causes has expanded, providing support to over 126,022 children across Colorado.  Jessica and her husband Kyle have three living children and are dedicated to serving the community they live in.
