Packz4Kidz Kicks Off the 2026 Season in Grand Junction

On July 25, 2026, Kenzi's Causes proudly kicked off the 2026 Packz4Kidz season with our Grand Junction backpack distribution event. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were able to help children start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

Hosted at the Grand Vista Hotel, the event provided 299 backpacks filled with school supplies to children in need, serving 105 local families. As the event came to a close, we had one backpack remaining. We were grateful to be able to give our 300th backpack to a Grand Vista Hotel employee whose family could use the extra support. It was a meaningful reminder that need exists in every community and that sometimes help reaches people in unexpected ways.

We are deeply grateful to the Grand Vista Hotel for generously donating their event space and making it possible for us to serve families in the Grand Junction community. Their partnership allows us to invest more resources directly into helping children and families.

Every child who attended also received a colorful balloon, thanks to the generosity of Empop Balloons. Their donation brought smiles to so many faces and added a fun, festive touch to a day that celebrated hope and new beginnings.

As we celebrate another successful Packz4Kidz event, we are reminded that a backpack is more than just school supplies—it represents confidence, opportunity, and a fresh start for a child preparing to walk into the classroom.
