Pueblo Packz4Kidz Event serves 300 children!

Kenzi's Causes successfully hosted its Annual Pueblo Packz4Kidz backpack giveaway on Saturday, August 3, 2024, providing 300 new backpacks filled with school supplies to children in the Pueblo community, ranging from preschool to 12th grade. This impactful event supported 142 families, ensuring their children are well-prepared for the first day of school. A heartfelt thank you goes to our event coordinator, Michelle Gonzales, volunteer Theresa Kosak, and all the volunteers who contributed to the success of this event. This giveaway would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors: the Kiwanis Club of Pueblo, Pueblo County, Safelite Autoglass for providing storage, Academy Kids Vision, and Pueblo School District 60 for the use of their parking lot. This free event, open to any family in need on a first-come, first-served basis, is a cornerstone of our commitment to the community. Kenzi's Causes has been making a positive impact on children and families in Pueblo since 2020 with the Packz4Kidz program and since 2018 with the Toy Shop program. The upcoming Toy Shop event is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024, continuing our mission to bring joy and support to disadvantaged children during the holiday season.
