Toy Shop Volunteers 2013

If you would like to volunteer for our 4th Annual Dolls for Daughters® and Toys for Boys® Toy Shop on Saturday, December 7th, please click here and you will be directed to our registration. Volunteers are also needed for toy shop set up on December 6th. We have a limited number of volunteers for this annual event and expect all spots to be filled up in November. Once all slots are filled, registration will close.

Toy Shop Information:
Location: Denver Montclair International School - 206 N Red Cross Way Denver, CO 80230
Time: Toy Shop is from 9am-5pm or when we run out of toys
Parking: Please DO NOT park in the Lowry Town Center, they will tow your car. Last year they towed cars from their lot. Please speak directly with the volunteer coordinator Michelle Lewis about parking concerns and look for information in volunteer only emails. There will be parking in the neighborhoods, we also strongly encourage carpooling.

This year we plan to provide 3200 children with a new toy, stocking, stocking stuffer, book, toothbrush/toothpaste kit. The first 100 families will also receive a food box from Food Bank of the Rockies and the first 100 or more children will also get new shoes through our partnership with The Denver Shoe Crew.

Please consider bringing a roll of wrapping paper with you the day of to help ensure we can wrap as many gifts as possible.

If you have additional questions please email Michelle Lewis our volunteer coordinator at volunteers.AT.dollsfordaughters.com.

About the Author

Kenzi's Causes

In 2007, Jessica Bachus started Dolls for Daughters®, after her daughter Kenzi was stillborn. She created an annual holiday Toy Drive for Colorado children who would not otherwise have toys during the holidays. Today, Kenzi's Causes collects more than 100,000 toys, stocking stuffers, books, toothbrush/toothpaste kits, backpacks, lunch boxes and other items to change the lives of children in Colorado through our programs. At this annual event, families are also provided with community resources to help improve their lives and the lives of their children.
