Volunteer Spotlight: Terran Bohart
Continuing our tradition of celebrating one volunteer each month, this June we want to take a moment to thank Terran Bohart and her family for all they do to support Kenzi’s Causes and the families we serve.
Terran donates her time because she is committed to supporting those less fortunate than herself. She started volunteering six years ago when she and her family decided to help distribute toys at local stores for families around the holidays. This year, Terran expanded her family’s efforts by also handing out toys at her local Starbucks branches. In looking back on her long tenure at Kenzi’s Causes, Terran values the opportunity to teach her then-young children the importance of donating their time to work on behalf of others.
Terran and her family also contribute to Kenzi’s Causes by participating in our auctions! They have been generous enough to donate items as well as bid on pieces. And though our work is not about making money, we would not be able to serve our kids and families without these types of events and the funding they generate from people like Terran and her family.
When asked what advice she would offer those considering volunteering, Terran said, “There are several different ways that Kenzi’s Causes helps the community all year long. I feel like there is an opportunity for anyone to get involved & help where they are able to,” and we resoundingly agree! Lastly, want to extend one, final, wholehearted “thank you” to Terran and her family for all they’ve done for our kids and families here at Kenzi’s Causes! We couldn’t do it without people like you!
