"Your greatness is not what you have, it's what you give"
Abby recently celebrated her 11th birthday and had a party on November 8th. This year for her birthday she decided to do something different, she decided to donate her gifts. When I asked Abby why she decided to do this, her reply was "I have so much and the kids you serve have nothing." These words warmed my heart and so did the 31 gifts and 1 gift card that Abby collected at her party. Abby was surprised by the generosity of her friends and did not expect to get this many gifts.
We are thrilled that Abby chose Kenzi's Causes and our toy shop program to support this year with her birthday gifts. Abby's generosity reminds me of this quote, "Your greatness is not what you have, it's what you give."
