Pack Purpose & Build Connection

What if you could give your team the chance to do something that truly matters and changes lives in just one afternoon? By coming together to fill backpacks with essential school supplies, your team can help thousands of under-resourced Colorado children begin the school year feeling confident, supported, and seen. And when your team members take a moment to include a handwritten note filled with encouragement and care, they become part of a story those children will carry with them far beyond the first day of school. This is more than a team-building event. It is a shared purpose. It is a real impact that reminds us what we can accomplish when we show up for others. Great company culture is not just built. It is lived, and it begins with moments like these. Since 2007, Kenzi’s Causes has provided low-income children and families across Colorado with the necessary resources to thrive. One of our most impactful programs, Packz 4 Kidz, equips underprivileged children with backpacks filled with essential school supplies, restoring confidence, inspiring motivation, and unlocking opportunity.   In 2024, with the support of corporate partners like you, we served 8,041 children and 1,150 families, distributing 156,785 backpacks and supplies across Colorado. The Impact?  Thousands of students started their school year ready to learn, and thousands of parents felt a little more support. That is the power of a backpack. That is the power of your team showing up. A Meaningful Team-Building Experience Here is what happens when your team gets involved in a Packz 4 Kidz backpack-stuffing event: Boost Employee Engagement Your employees step away from their routines to engage in what truly matters. They pack backpacks, share stories, and laugh together over tables filled with supplies. These moments are not just good; they are profoundly meaningful. Employees participating in social impact programs are four times more likely to feel engaged at work. According to Project ROI, companies with well-structured corporate responsibility programs experience up to a 13 percent increase in productivity and a 50 percent reduction in turnover (Project ROI). When your people feel purpose, your workplace thrives. “Our teams always have so much fun at our community volunteer events. In addition to the positive community impact, these events have helped to drive more sense of belonging and purpose at our office.” Heather Strickland, Strategic Account Manager & Impact Committee Lead, Autodesk Build Strong, Lasting Team Bonds Teamwork feels different when you are shoulder to shoulder, working toward a shared goal that benefits the community and not just the company’s bottom line. Whether organizing supply stations or adding personal touches to backpacks, your team experiences collaboration at its most authentic. The data supports it. Seventy-five percent of employees say team-building activities improve communication across departments, leading to stronger collaboration and better results (Peak Sales Recruiting). “We are always looking for ways to give back to the Colorado community. Packz 4 Kidz provided us with that opportunity and created a great team event for our staff to enjoy together.” — Ben Hahn, Construction Manager, Basis Partners Demonstrate Values in Action When your company participates in a community impact event, it sends a clear message: We show up. We care, and we are part of something bigger. This matters to your employees, clients, and community. According to the Cone Communications CSR Study, seventy-seven percent of employees prefer to support brands that are committed to social good. “There is no con to incorporating community outreach into your business. Employees who feel like they are contributing to something bigger than themselves can increase retention, productivity, and profitability—all aiding to the success of the business.” — Kathy Nicolls, Monarch Investment & Management Group Deliver a Tangible, Personal Impact Every backpack your team assembles becomes a bridge to opportunity for a child who might otherwise go without. These are not just school supplies—they are reminders that someone believes in that child's potential. Some companies go even further. At Enova’s backpack stuffing event, employees take time to write personal notes of encouragement for every child. A few heartfelt words from your team can make a student feel seen, supported, and ready to step into the school year with confidence. Now It’s Your Turn By hosting a Packz 4 Kidz backpack stuffing event, your company provides the backpacks, the supplies, and the hands that bring it all together. In just one afternoon, you can help hundreds of Colorado kids start the new school year feeling ready, confident, and supported. This is more than a volunteer opportunity. It is a moment your team will remember, A culture-shaping experience. A way to show your company’s values in action and change lives in the process. Ready to pack impact into your culture? Kenzi's Causes

In 2007, Jessica Bachus started Dolls for Daughters®, after her daughter Kenzi was stillborn. She created an annual holiday Toy Drive for Colorado children who would not otherwise have toys during the holidays. Today, Kenzi's Causes collects more than 100,000 toys, stocking stuffers, books, toothbrush/toothpaste kits, backpacks, lunch boxes and other items to change the lives of children in Colorado through our programs. At this annual event, families are also provided with community resources to help improve their lives and the lives of their children.
