Over $10,000 raised and 254 New Toys collected at 11th Annual Bowl4Kidz event!

What started as one mother’s grieving response to the death of a daughter has grown into one of Denver’s most respected nonprofits serving needy children. More than 124 participants took to the lanes at AMF Monaco Lanes on Saturday, March 9th to raise over $10,000 for Kenzi’s Kidz. Sanitas Skincare sponsored the three-hour Bowl 4 Kidz event, which successfully brought in over 254 new toys for the annual toy shop. Proceeds from the event will also help fund the Dolls for Daughters and Toys for Boys Toy Shop in December.
“In 2018 we provided holiday assistance to a record 14,268 children in Colorado from Longmont, Fort Collins, Denver and all the way to Grand County. We have the privilege of helping thousands of people enjoy the spirit of the season as we provide “Christmas” to families who in their current financial situation cannot fulfill their child’s Christmas wish. Our goal is to serve 15,000 children through our Annual Dolls for Daughters and Toys for Boys Toy Shop and our partnering nonprofits this year and the Bowl4Kidz event is a great to start our toy collection.” -Jessica Bachus, Founder & Executive Director
Bowl 4 Kidz has served primarily as a community event where families can give back while having fun; however, thanks to the generous support of participants and sponsors, it has grown to become an important fundraiser for the organization. Bowl 4 Kids offers many opportunities for local support and involvement; Corporate Sponsorships, bowling teams, and raffle items donated by businesses and individuals. This year, over $3,000 in items were donated to the raffle and there were nine Corporate Sponsors: [gallery columns="6" size="full" link="none" ids="4912,2137,1213,4153,4159,2224,4022,5401"]

Kenzi's Causes

In 2007, Jessica Bachus started Dolls for Daughters®, after her daughter Kenzi was stillborn. She created an annual holiday Toy Drive for Colorado children who would not otherwise have toys during the holidays. Today, Kenzi's Causes collects more than 100,000 toys, stocking stuffers, books, toothbrush/toothpaste kits, backpacks, lunch boxes and other items to change the lives of children in Colorado through our programs. At this annual event, families are also provided with community resources to help improve their lives and the lives of their children.
