On Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, Kenzi’s Causes hosted our annual Denver Packz4Kidz event—and it was nothing short of incredible.
With the support of over 20 dedicated volunteers, we distributed new backpacks filled with essential school supplies to 2,652 children from 814 families across the Denver metro area. These children are now starting the school year with confidence, dignity, and the tools they need to succeed—thanks to our generous donors, sponsors, and community partners.
A Community Effort at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science
This year’s event was made possible through the leadership of our Events and Program Director, Julie Palmer, who masterfully coordinated every detail. We were thrilled to once again partner with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science as our host venue. Families were welcomed with warmth, care, and a truly memorable experience.
Special thanks to Boxstars, who delivered and helped set up our massive backpack shipment, and to every volunteer who showed up to make the event seamless and joyful for the families we served.
Free Haircuts & Smiles All Around
A highlight of the day came from our friends at The Local Parlor, who brought a team to provide free haircuts to children in need—over 100 haircuts were given, ensuring kids felt their best walking into the first day of school.
