As the holidays approach I am reminded that it is the little things that make a difference in people’s lives. Kenzi’s Kidz is making in the life of one family this year. Our Kenzi’s Kidz family needed a few things that many of us take for granted. While Marcellina goes to school and works, she tries to find a way to make the best life possible for her four children. I am always impressed by how hard Marcellina is working to make life better for her children.

Today I was able to meet up with them for a short time. Zayn needed inserts for his shoes so his feet no longer hurt when he walked and played. Both Zayn and Kylee needed hats and gloves for winter and Gauje needed new shoes. It brought a smile to my face to watch Kylee pick out her gloves and hat. She found a set of gloves that had one pair that was pink with purple stripes and the other pair was black. Her hat was black with pink stripes. It took her a little while to find exactly what she wanted but when she did, the smile on her face was priceless.

Zayn did not take very long to find the gloves and hat he wanted. He selected a light weight pair of gloves that were brown with camo green on them and then a pair of black gloves that were heavier with skeleton bones on them. His hat was stripped as well. He was so pleased when he was finished.

After our trip to get these items we were off to the shoe store for Gauje. He needed new shoes because the shoes he currently wore were out of shape and too big. While trying them on he was concerned that he would grow out of them too fast so he wanted to get a larger size. His Mom told him to get the smaller size and he did. He was very happy when we left.

Marcellina thanked me again for our support with tears in her eyes. As a Mother I know that you always want to give your children everything and do the best you can for them. Marcellina does this every day and with the help of Kenzi’s Kidz her life this year is a little easier.
