On April 23, 2010 Dolls for Daughters® hosted their first happy hour through Z Cares at miniBar in Cherry Creek.  Friday night turned out to be a great success.  I will have to confess that I knew people would show up, but I did not think so many people would come out to our first event. 

    Over 100 hundred people came out to the event to support Dolls for Daughters®.  Couples showed up for date night, co-workers showed up for happy hour and singles came to meet new people. miniBar offered all you can drink for $10 and half priced appetizers.  Those that attended were given the opportunity to enroll in a six month free membership with Z Club and if they gave us their information they were entered to win a $25 Visa Gift card.  It was so great to meet so many new people and let them know how passionate the board members of Dolls for Daughters® is about putting smiles on the faces of underprivileged kids in 2010.  It was even better to hear how many people in our community were excited about our organization and were interested in finding out more information about how they could help.  Keep checking out our website for future Happy Hours and come out and support Dolls for Daughters®.  I hope to see you at our next one.
