The power of an invitation.
We believe that one of the greatest feelings is knowing that you are welcome. If you’re new around here, you may not be familiar with the Kenzi’s Kidz Program. To briefly catch you up to speed- for the past decade, the Kenzi’s Kidz Program has been in place to relieve the financial burdens of low-income families.
Each year, six families in need are invited into this program. These chosen families are given hope, support, and resources from our organization, taking away the pressure of “survival” and allowing families to focus on thriving. The intention of the Kenzi’s Kidz Program was to serve as an opportunity for low-income families to create a stable environment for their children.

Meet the Calderon Family
We love honoring the lovely families that we get connected to all because of the mission that the Kenzi’s Kids Program provides. Without further ado, we’d like to introduce the Calderon Family!
Alexis and Tino are the parents of their three adorable kids, Genesia, Giana, and Tino Jr. A part of the Hope House Colorado Organization, this family was given the opportunity to apply for our program. In 2018, they were one of the six chosen families. Ever since they’ve been involved with our organization, they have come to every monthly event. We can’t imagine a time without them present!
Tino is a mechanic while Alexis is the homemaker and a full-time student.
Alexis shares, “In our free time we enjoy going on adventures with our family, getting our hands dirty in the garage, and helping others in any way we can.”
As you can see, The Calderon’s are a typical family just like you. They may have a different beginning to their story, but all families want the same thing for their children: a place to call home.
“Right now, our biggest goal is getting our family into a home all our own and out of apartment living. We hope one day we can open up a mechanic shop of our own, too!”
Kenzi’s Kidz is an opportunity. It’s an invitation. What you do with that invitation is up to you. We’re glad to hear that The Calderon’s are making their way in providing the life that they want for their children. We are so humbled to play a role in their success and watch how they make an impact on their journey to financial stability.

Kenzi’s Kidz has impacted our family so positively in just one year. The love, encouragement, and support we’ve received has helped us on our journey and given us hope! Being invited to the events and the gifts our children receive mean so much, we wouldn’t have events to attend otherwise and our children rarely receive gifts from anyone other than us! Were also so grateful for the relationships we’ve been able to establish and the admirable women who make it all happen!
