High Plains Ghostbusters’ Impact at our 2023 Toy Drive
In the heart of our community, an exceptional force for good stands out—High Plains Ghostbusters. This unique group, led by founder Ches Bond, intertwines its operations with meaningful missions, actively engaging in charitable activities, attending local events, and spreading joy by attending birthday celebrations. The connection between High Plains Ghostbusters and positive energy is rooted in the iconic Ghostbusters 2 movie. Drawing inspiration from the film’s triumph over darkness through positive emotions, they translate this narrative into real-world actions to positively impact those in need. Ches Bond explains,
“In Ghostbusters 2, the Ghostbusters have to defeat a villain with positive emotions. They do this by inspiring goodwill through animating the Statue of Liberty. We do that by helping collect toys for Kenzi’s Causes”
As we look back on the impact of our toy drive initiatives in 2023, we recognize the High Plains Ghostbusters as a driving force.
