Losing a child meant literally losing a piece of myself, and so many dreams and plans that would go unfulfilled. As the holidays come back around again, I am reminded of the daughter I lost, and the gifts that I would never get to give her.
But thanks to you, over 69,000 children have received services through our Dolls for Daughters and Toys for Boys Toy Shop, our Packz4Kidz program or our direct services program, Kenzi’s Kidz over the last 10 years. We have built a community dedicated to helping others less fortunate and are proud to report on such acts of kindness but most importantly, a legacy for my daughter Kenzi.
What I love most about our programs is the ability to be part of our Kenzi’s Kidz lives. I love seeing the kids once a month, hearing from the parents and deep down knowing Kenzi is a part of each of them.

I’d love you to meet one our amazing Kenzi’s Kidz dads, Hoyt. Hoyt is a single father and he and his 5 children entered into our Kenzi’s Kidz program in 2018. Hoyt has built a strong foundation for his 5 children and even sent one off to college. Taonna is currently attending college for non-profit management because she sees the impact in giving back and we could not be more proud of her. Hoyt’s family always attends our monthly Kenzi’s Kidz events and utilizes the resources we have available. The kids are active in our literacy program and Hoyt Jr. is part of our K Cub boys program. This family embodies why Kenzi’s Kidz was created. His is a story of challenge and transformation and it has been a true blessing to see this family grow over the last year.
Your support makes stories like Hoyt’s possible. Because friends like you care about our families, we are able to provide opportunities and comprehensive resources that help change their lives. We are all in this journey together and hope you will support us. Every dollar raised will go towards our Kenzi’s House. Our vision for Kenzi’s House is a warm and inviting space that will serve as a hub for our programs and especially, Kenzi’s Kidz families . We want to extend the ripple effects of the program by providing a physical site for continued support, resources, and community to all families in our program.
Complete with a library, health and wellness room, game areas, kitchen, educational garden, computer lab, and space for offices and storage, the Kenzi’s House project will allow for strategic growth and synergy among all of our programs.
We know our dreams for the house are big and we simply can’t do it without you. Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of underprivileged children for years to come.
