The Royal Court gathered to share tea at Wystone’s World Teas in downtown Belmar on April 21st. The Princesses, Queens, Kings, Dolls and a few Teddy Bears assembled in the kingdom within Wystone’s Cafe for the 4th Annual Tea Party. Miss Kiddee and Friends were present to paint faces and give away balloons and a joyful time was had by all. The kingdom donated 23 new doll, 2 tea sets and a doll painting set and more for our annual toy shop on December 7th.
Annually, we pack Wystone’s Cafe and this year was no different. The annual royal tea party is a fun way for mothers, fathers, daughters, girlfriends and generations of family members to get together for an afternoon of fun, food and giving. This event has grown over the last 4 years to become something people ask about and want to attend. “It warms my heart to be able to share with the girls that the doll they are donating to Dolls for Daughters® will find a new home with a deserving Colorado child on December 7th”, said Founder Jessica Bachus.
This event brought families from throughout Denver to enjoy Wystone’s line of Purple Monkey children’s teas, tea sandwiches and an array of treats to please young and old alike. Whether Mother/daughter or Father/son, each family and child enjoyed face-painting and balloon animals along with Wystone’s delicious tea inspired culinary cuisine.
“Our children’s line, Purple Monkey, was designed to appeal to Moms who want a healthy beverage choice for their children. Initially, we developed our tea line, and then created healthy food pairings which appeal to children and are appreciated by Mom”, said Wy Livingston, Founder and CEO, Wystone’s World Teas. “We’ve supported Jessica and Dolls for Daughters® for the past four years and will continue to support her vision and incredible good works in the Denver community.”
We are thankful to LBK Photography for taking all the wonderful photos from the event. Thank you also to Clowning by Miss Kiddee and Friends for painting the faces and making the balloons.
